Incredible Bones

these incredible bones in my body, how i can feel them becoming stronger with every word i type reeling onto the page. the spine of my book stretching to great lengths and the blood in my veins continuously flowing within me. when a surge of power and confidence comes in like this, it lifts your feet off the ground and leaves you soaring through the sky. you can feel the wind graze off of your skin and the sun shine through your hair. the way you feel when the people around you genuinely love and care for you. when the people around you know and understand your weakness and can help you not to hurt as much as you believe you deserve. the people who shine through darkness and show you what it's like to be happy for once in your small god damn life. these people are utter blessings. they create light in darkness, peace in war and grace in all flaws. it is the people around you who mold you and show you the ways of the world. mold your perspectives and create something beautiful. remembering back to when i was weak, they were always strong enough to drag me through the storm. turns out i came out fierce as fire on the other side.
