A Moment in Time - III

A Moment in Time - III
It’s a new day
The call to feast has gone out
The table is laid
Scented with perfumery
Vibrant in color
Multitudes at play
All seeking to benefit
Some come flying in
Others crawling, all partaking
The progeny at stake
In the wind
Streaks of light
Nothing is visible
Yet it shines again and again
Reflecting the Sun
There is another host
Waiting to ensnare
Some guests for itself
And then you realize
Everybody is a host
And a guest as well
Waiting to be fed
Or feed itself
Nature is truly all awe inspiring

Thanks for your continued support. All these moments I experienced, while sitting on my deck, still in a meditative state. It's strange how clear and uncluttered the mind is, and how open it is to notice the tiniest of sensations.

I was sitting on the balcony watching the jasmine vines, and wrote many a poems . In this one I noticed streaks of light and realized those to be strewn by spiders. Thus this poem,
