The words were muddy
the feelings clear
The blues on fire
—the ending near
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2016)
Centennial Fury
The great American Songbook
whose words march off the page
Its music now a footnote
—to a century of rage
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2016)
Thespian Misstep
There are stages you run to
and from stages to hide
The performance of a lifetime
or the shame that will chide
There are actors in character
and actors on loan
One change in direction
—and all meaning has flown
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2016)

Kurt,
“Muddy Waters”...
Another memory within those walls that will not talk!
~Laura~
🙂
Are you working on “An Anthology Of Perception” Vol. 3?
Yes, that\'s where all the Poems from 2016 are coming from. I\'m on page 857 of 901. 901 pages
is all the publisher can get into one volume.
There are another 1500 beyond that, and over 200 in my voice recorder on my I-Phone that I
dictated but haven\'t written out yet.
🙂
Wow 😮 You’re amazing!
