My life

caz84

When did you stop loving me?

Did you ever start?

I thought that we were best of friends

I thought I had your heart.

I changed my life and all I had,

To be there by your side,

To love and laugh, to eat and sleep,

To sit and watch the tide.

Now I don't have a hand to hold,

Except one very small,

I have a job, a house and kids,

But I don't "have it all."

I don't have a partner,

I don't have a friend,

I don't have the man I love,

Goodbye, goodnight, the end.

This is very powerful, represents the truth about heartache. Good writing.

Your first stanza broke my heart. Then as I read on,it broke more and more. Such an emotional and beautiful read.

Having just discovered you on here i had to see more of your poetry. You are very good.
This contains so much in the picture you paint and refrains from being a rant, which is seen all to often on your subject here in MPS. Your final line wraps it up perfectly.

Big gap between your two posts. You're good, you should show us some more of your stuff.... PLEEEZE!
