Honey and Clover

Vaeu

Summer smiles sweetly upon your soft face.

Over the meadows through the vales of green,

Every calm corner is blessed with her grace;

Yet you lie - serene - a sight to be seen

Bundled up with the honey and clover;

With tunes of bliss grander than Pan's starling.

Bringing wandering souls ever closer,

Captivated by your allure, darling.

Near the distant lake, you are the White Swan

O'er-brimm'd with such majestic elegance:

Strengthened by my ring that you have forgone.

Your warm guiding light will be my credence,

So wake up; join me in eternity

With honey and clover for you and me.
