the middle

kalanigarcia

my head pounds to the rhythm of my heart beating.

my legs are numb and my vision is blurry.

lips are white and skin is pale

I can't stand nor sit

but I can't walk

i am stuck.

She tells me to keep moving but i'm losing my hearing.

i am gone.

but i still feel here

i want to close my eyes

If i close my eyes i won't wake.

the earth is quiet but my head is loud.

i don't remember where i am or my destination.
