Muscle Car
In the garage it was safe
A classic from a former day
With the original everything
With no dents and the inside clean
It was a one-owner car
Driven and then one day parked
Protected from any future wear
And with dice hanging there
Admirers were the young at heart
And stopped by to see the car
And always wanted without fail
To see the big block running well
It was a car very sweet
Street legal with high H.P.
And timed in a quarter mile
Mere seconds and in classic style
The proud owner still intends
To race his car once again
But today he is doing fine
With others seeing his baby shine
