Lion

olivergreenwood20

Behind bars I have sat and waited.

Pacing back and forth for the coward who cages me.

I roar at the sheep who lingers in the darkness.

I claw at the bars to make him hear my rage.

I have spent too long trapped in his game.

Too long sparing his life for the sake of my sanity.

His excuses hold me no longer

His tears shall gain no more sympathy

He has kept me hostage without consequence

and now its my turn,

My turn to show him what it means to put a lion in a cage.

Sometimes the only way to affect a change is to show them the error of their ways. Really like this one. Powerful message.
