Hung From A Quarter.

kevin browne

Unbearable is the tide so up and so down
From moment to moment you're left all alone
And, although you'll feel horrid and sad
You'll live and you'll love, now go find a home.

Hung from a quarter, drawn from the heart
Hope is disaster for the unquestionable one
Tear down the wall that kept them all in
Stare into space if it's love that you've won.

Giving is sharing, you'll borrow some more
Out on the cheeks to be greedy for some
Play the game right to see if you lose
Pack up the shuffle when everything's done.

If the sense is peculiar then peculiar again
You'll just all wonder what you've all done
Cast in the Hell, and let live Heaven alone
If you feel queried then query your doubts.

Intelligence is imagination written in sublime
As smart as it seems it's impossible to cry
Water is thirst and the oceans have gone
Love has no ending so don't ask yourself why.

A picture is this, it's the saddest thing seen
ignorance fails since the school days of teen
Butter up Rosebush, let's see what you've got
Beauty or failure either you are or you're not.

Conclusions subside quite on the contrary
It's a guessing of blessings for those in hope
Dance with the daffodils, let the devils all out
Think of the future when you learn how to cope.

But, dark in despair, when will this end
Run round the corner to see if it bends
The beginning of life as it comes and it goes
Life is the desperation that everyone knows.

Dig a little deeper to see what love brings
A royal of flush will buy me your wedding rings
After that day when things are all rosy
Wake in a week and you'll be all dozy.

What else can I say or shall I just write?
my fist is clenched and my knuckles are tight
You'll message me later, I'll let off some steam
Remember us humans who should work as a team.

Now that it's over we can make a new start
Build our new bridges if we knew where to park
The world as it seems needs everyone here
We'll giggle with laughter and shout a good cheer.
