Let's take a walk outside

Edthepoet

I know it's closing time
For the fear in your mind
Just flash those pearly whites
Just blink them sky blue eyes
And everythings just fine

No need to complicate
My compliments
No need to analyse
My sentiments
No need to look inside
For a reason why
Let's take a walk outside

I'd like the world to see
You by my side
And By the world I
Mean wherever you have in mind I'd like the world to see
What I see everytime
There's no need to hide
Let's take a walk outside

Underneath the city limit lights
There's a caravan of life
There's an unwritten story
Waiting for you to write
You don't have to be kind
You don't have to be nice
Just a little courageous
Let's take a walk outside.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Attempting to chanel some kind of Inner Van Morrison..failing miserably.. Yet still churning out something resembling poetry.. Such is the genius of said inspiration.
