Strive

Anasyil

Tell me what I can't do,
and I will prove you wrong.
Tell me the impossible
and I will make it possible.
Feed me your poison,
and I will turn it into a cure.
Like the mountains,
I will never be pushed.
Like the ocean,
I am limitless.
Like the moon,
My heart is luminous
and you can never
destroy my light.

I once concealed my pain,
manifested only in red across my veins
Crying by night but smiling by day,
I'd perfected the art of waving their worries away
Then I found a friend worth living for
and he turned out to be
all the motivation I'd ever need
to survive the storm.
