BB Gun Friend
At an early age I had a BB gun
And there was not a day I did not shoot it some
My mom warned me to be careful with it
And not shoot myself in an accident
I still remember the day Joe came along
With his own gun and fishing pole for ponds
We shot tin cans and some bottles too
And fished many times after we were through
In those days we fished we caught bass a lot
Challenging each other for the biggest caught
After fishing we made camp and built a fire too
And it was exciting those days of our youth

Good write w c. We had potato spud guns. The end of the gun had a hollow projection. You bored it into potatoes and it picked up a potato pellet, which you fired at someone. Bit yucky! lol.
Me naughty childhood heehee. I was in block of flats in early years. We chucked buckets of water on people from above!
Hey, orchidee. I've heard of potato spud guns, but haven't actually used one. They sound like fun. I can relate to the mischief of early years. Sometimes i look back and wonder how i survived. LOL
The truth outs! Naughty little hooligan ............ ha!
Super cool poem reminiscing childhood poetically. Was a harmless gun right? My kids luv water guns. I enjoyed your fun poem. Thumbs up.
So nice to read from your ink again, Pleez do review/comment my newest poem too.
The BB guns were innocent enough. Just a way Joe and I got to know each other.
