coyote escapism

Abora

9/6/18 12:11AM

i’m going to run away and join

a pack of coyotes

prowling suburban prairies

they eat trash

and scream at the moon

like a real animal should do

i’ll crawl on my hands and knees

hunting for squirrel

sharpen my teeth

and bite my own lip

i won’t even need new shoes

“coyote man found in wilderness”

“lost ability to speak”

and the writing i’ll do then

will be more than just grunts

i’ll include snarls too
