Trees.

Mirrorphen

Trees.

Growing us beautiful leaves,

giving us the ability to breathe.

They grow us long and beautiful branches,

giving us protection and shade from the hot sun burning our skin

or simply somewhere to have a picnic.

Why must we chop them down?

What have they done to us?

Why would one get a punishment for providing for you?

hmmm..It's what we do isn't it, we humans. Bosses of the world! Even the sympathetically 'green' issues supporters are vegetarians... eating plants.
I love trees. Have you ever hugged a tree? Find a tall tree you cant quite get your arms around and give it a good hug for several minutes on a breezy day, you'll be amazed how good it feels.
I enjoyed reading your piece today.
