Me

Naeners

You are inescapable

You are at every turn

The monster in my closet

The past I can't deposit

The fears that I wish to unlearn

You were so beautiful to be

A beauty I wish to unsee

Seeing beauty in pain

I'll relive you again

As I try to forget you were me

I want to believe you weren't me

Though I know you were always me
