Uneasy Feelings

NaomiRayne

I was losing my mind

So I decided to drive after it.

Where I was raised is where I was to consider comfortable.

But I stopped feeling at ease.

Every state boarder I crossed

that uneasy feeling was there

Now I settle in somewhere new temporarily

Trying to force myself to get a grip.

Again this uneasy feeling telling me to run, drive, go anywhere else

If I keep listening, leaving, going even farther

I might start to feel like myself

But what stops me every time

is knowing this will never end.
