Worth

"Carter Wills"

I was told something quite recently,
something I'm quite sure you've all heard before.
A senseless and unnecessary thing,
forever present in the internet’s scores.

A simple little statement, yes,
but only so in its sounds,
for it possess a far greater meaning
that cannot just audibly be found.

That stupid saying of “kill yourself”
which has rang out so many times.
And while many may call it a joke,
it's seen to the loss of too many lives.

Perhaps my life may not possess much worth,
that much I'll admit may be true.
But if one like you can say such things,
then clearly it's worth more than you.
