Trust yourself. Love yourself.

Mirrorphen

Hold this in your hand
hold it tight, you are the only one I trust
I turn my back one minute
you let go of it
like letting go of a feather in high winds

You threw it away
was this to hurt me?
Was this to anger me?
All these questions in my mind.

I picked it back up,
I keep it safe in my heart
I find out quickly
there is no better person to have it
than me.

The best person you can trust is yourself,
you share everything with yourself
you are your own best friend.
Love yourself.

    Ally,

This write resonates with my beliefs! Your message is abundantly clear! First and foremost...love and trust yourself. This is your safety net! Once thatā€™s established, then you can scrupulously allow someone else to share a bit of your world!
