There are many words in the world
With many different meanings
And yet somehow those words fail
When I try to describe my feelings
Words fail to express my happiness
The way you make me feel
It’s like a warmth within my soul
And I wonder if it is real
Words fail to describe your gorgeous eyes
Like caramel galaxies with amber stars
Or your radiant smile that can brighten my world
Or my excitement for the life that will be ours
Words fail to depict your wonderful voice
That I so often miss
They fail to illustrate the way my heart skips
Everytime we kiss
Words fail when I try to explain
Just how lucky I am to have you
I can only hope that through actions rather than words
You will see how much I love you
