Dear lord,

Sup

Dear lord,

today I spoke with an atheist,

the experience was fairly odd,

I told him I was a man of faith and he asked “Why the hell do you believe in god?”,

I calmly warned him to ease off the blasphemy,

and informed him my faith isn’t a fallacy,

his retort was “a belief isn’t justified without evidence”,

“and your faith is from inheritance,

of bad ideas drilled into you by a parent,

who brainwashed you with nonsense since you were an adolescent”,

after a long pause, I conceded “your logic is sound,

but my faith in god has already been found,

and of that I cannot let go,”

amen.

Amen Sup, there are none so deaf as those who do not wish to hear. but it is when one sees that god is in everything can you know and start to listen

A fine write Sup. Yes, it would not be faith if we could see everything visibly. doh! Also, a Bible verse asks: 'Who hopes for what they see? But if we hope for what we do not see, we hope for it with patience (and in faith)'.
Some atheists won't have it though. They will argue black is white.
