Liars Dwell

Kurt Philip Behm

Is the truth even electable

   redemption now a sin

The confessional a voting booth

  —where liars dwell within

Ahh ,there' some comedy films where they say 'Oh it's all right, let's rave up; I'm going to confession the next morning anyway' as if it can just be brushed away.
And - some priests and those confessing need to change places sometimes! What goes on behind some closed doors, etc.
Well, it's difficult if some priests are forbidden to marry. I will stop before I get started on RC churches. doh!

Not sure if I picked up the intended theme of your poem Kurt, or if I digressed? Or waffled, more like!
