My Hero

My motivation to get my tasks done

My saving grace in a terrible day

My inspiration to write stories and poems

My hero is miles away

The reason I get out of bed in the morning

The reason I’m changing my ways

The reason I want to keep living

My hero keeps my insecurities at bay

The person I turn to when things are going wrong

The person I wanted to stay

The person I can always rely on

My hero is my getaway

I hope in turn I’m the same for him

I try to be anyway

He is the best thing that has ever happened to me

He’ll be my hero till the end of my days
