Hidden Desire

SG Wilson

From the depths of a hidden passion

To the secrets of a wondering mind

To a romance of isolation

As confusion begins to unwind.

A feeling of some uncertainty

The urge to loud to ignore

A screaming from inside you

A desire as never before.

Heartbeats that keep the record

Eyes that can't help roam

Skin that passes through your fingers

History that can't be left alone.

Foresight of total devastation

Crumbling walls falling all around

Loved ones that are lost to misunderstanding

Lives being swept off the ground.

All measured by a code of morality

All lost to the hands of respect

Suppressed urges of a hidden desire

Love that has been lived to regret.
