Ode to the unfinished works

Andrew Charles Forrest

Erase the words and start again

How many sentiments are lost

Like dust removed by mornings rain

Enveloped by winters frost

Will the moment ever return

Or is it fleeting so our lives

Replaced by newer pains that burn

Different truths or different lies

I've started so much work / poems that were thrown away or lost over time
There must be millions of poets in the world
That's a lot of angst love hate and fear like paintings the only the one's were vaguely happy with get seen by others
Every writen words a lie it's someones take on what really happened
Even the history books are written by wax lyricists
I steer clear of the academic types who hide behind words
      Rant over
      Thanks Neville
