dew on a dead leaf

Jon Nakapalau

like love that can no longer absorb
into living touch that can feel the
little drops like a heart dried
and brittle that has now
curled up and is now
no longer able to
feel anything
new.

Yes, your poem is indeed sad, but loaded with food for thought. Nicely written. 🙂

Sad image, but when the leaf falls to the floor and becomes part of the earth which nourishes the tree. It will become endless.
