Behind Closed Doors

Cinderella_Pixie

In the sea of life

People tell so many lies

How they love you what you mean

All of the nonsense they spout about you and me

The mask fall away behind closed doors

As screaming is heard

They turn a blind eye

Avoid the problems of others and you will see

That even in the darkness those problems still haunt me

Should you raise your voice and speak your thoughts out loud

Or should you hide away beneath the ground

Even if you attempt to get in

The problems swallow you whole and you drown in them

Its easy to ignore until it all erupts

Problems of a broken home of things that are never enough
