Trust and Respect

NaomiRayne

You look down trying to find me in the water

But you see your own reflection staring down from the peak

I'm in need of the depths of the sea

You can find me at the root of the mountain

I trust fall into the wind, passing it by

to be caught by the waves

You fight gravity back, climbing to the top

then riding your way down

You respect the limits when it comes to jumping off the other side.

But the sunsets, centering these qualities

Sitting on top of the silky water

Leaning on the base of the mountain

and we meet in the middle, with it all around us

It's perfect
