Out here in the dark, there's a light shining brightly somewhere for you.
In there out of the way, there's something really special waiting for you, too.
Shake up your heart, there's things silently waiting underneath mountain moons.
Like a love song unsung, there'll be a harmony falling for my yearning swoons.
Take hold of my hand, take hold of my heart, but please, please don't ever leave.
Out here in the cold, the desert sand writes with the sun shining deep in the sea.
In there, there'll be warmth cooling the tears when after our love has glistened.
Shaded by storms, flowered by rainbows, and burned by the blindness to listen.
Stars start to cry, daffodils dance, telling a story William Wordsworth once said.
Heavens above fits like a glove, hurts like a love, falls like the Sun bright red.
One day will come, another one did but, still singing this song all on my own.
And falling from grace Gods eyes stared, I stood there learning to pray alone.
So, if you can see there's always a way to fly away up to Heaven and its stars.
And it's there you can see where and why your dreams ended upon Mars.
Let's start to walk home, let's love beside the Earth because it loves forevermore.
Now that you see, now that you kiss, just like your dreams keep them in store.

Such a remarkable read. Lovely images. 🙂
A big thank you for your comment/
Well I think this seems quite up there to me.
Each line fed into the next as I journeyed from the dark to the other side of the rainbow.
I'm glad they stated for him... Some days I feel like I'll be on Mars with my dreams forever
A good write Kevin.
These wise pieces of poetic advice resound with artistic imagery and stay in the mind long after the read - - I am "still singing the song" of seeing "daffodils dance " and hearing stars cry in journeying to the land of Love while "flowered with rainbows" - a triumph of a poem Kevin which goes straight into my favourites. Fantastic expressions.
Thank you so so much for your beautifully expressed comment. Very touching indeed.
