The Sunflower Cactus Girl

Dakota

you're the bright yellow flower in the middle of the field.

everything so green a lush it looks photo shopped not even real.

You took a me from the lost forrest of pines where my only friend was my mind.

you were there when no one else was  could  you really have been so kind.

I talked to you about everything it was a different sensation.

I don't like to play games I don't care about reputation.

You shined like the sun and I felt like I casted shadow blocking your light.

If I could have it my way I would make the sun shine brighter and there wouldn't be any night.

You were the first to show me part of my unexplored world.

there were happy days but there were dark days too hidden in the soil.

Because your also the lone cactus.

maybe you liked me maybe you're  a good actress.

You bring in arguments out of thin air that are fact less.

I tried my hardest and i put up with a lot of pricks got lost in a dessert but I got the futherest.

I dug so deep I found the water.

I want to talk but at the same time why even bother.

The lone cactus not even bothered by the breeze.

You felt pain and took it out on others because of insecurities.

but when you relaxed had fun and just let lose.

it was sweet like getting passed the pickles of the cactus and eating the fruit.

To the Sunflower cactus girl I can't wait to watch you bloom.

cause deep down your sweet I hope you find someone a nice groom

or just someone to care for you or someone to be there for you.

I got a truth for you on this page I will serve it. you'll find happiness but first love your self or you will feel you never deserve it.
