Neverhere

sylviasearcher

Slowly slipping

Far from here

Moving forward

Neverhere

I reach out my nervous hand

Buried deep in choking sand

The winds stir up a blinding haze

Neverseen as you resume your days

Suddenly sinking

Deeper down

Reaching still

But underground

Shaken fingers grasp for breath

Breathe your words into my chest

The oceans roar with fury fierce

Swirling sands my eyes to pierce

Blindly begging

From nowhere now

Lifeless limbs

Still move somehow

Like the endlessness of the undead

Hunting words to end the dread

To pull me from my suffocation

To end this desparate hibernation

To end this emptiness I feel

Loneliness that learns to heal

A breaking wave that never reached the sand

Finally freed in faraway land

Slowly slipping

Far from here

Moving forward

Neverhere

Slowly slipping

Far from here

Moving forward

Neverhere

Slowly

Slipping

Far

From

Here

Moving

Forward

Neverhere.
