A letter
- I hope you changed for the better
Still humorous but not under the weather
- Discovered a calling and discovered love
Found someone to care about and call your dove
- Keep your friends and make some more
The ones you already have are golden and pure
- Make your family proud they have kept you safe
In your nest your mother caressed you into place
- I hope you are happy and living the dream
For this is a letter to future me
- And for the one that is reading this I hope you’re not blue
For you are also capable of greatness and it is true
