A Bigger Threat
Incompetence…
much more dangerous than corruption
—when skillfully applied
(Note To The President-October, 2013)
A Greater Wrong
Within a lesser right
there is a greater wrong
—begging to get out
(Villanova Pennsylvania: Watching the 60 Minutes
Episode on Benghazi - October 27th, 2013)
Implacability
As our resolve hardened
—the viewing platform changed
(Villanova Pennsylvania: October 28th, 2013)
Beyond
The River….
Passing water
Through time
Its message
Deliverable
Beyond the millennia
Beyond the confusion
—beyond
(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2013)
True Immortality
To live on inside the hearts
of those you’ve loved
Is life
—beyond your dreams
(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2013)
Screaming Loud
Sculpting with his words,
the verse carved through the silence
—until screaming loud
(Haiku Alliteration: Villanova Pennsylvania, Jan. 2014)
True Worth
An ounce of experience
—is worth a thousand pounds of why
(Villanova Pennsylvania: January, 2014)
Married To Words
I’m never lonely
—I’m a writer

Kurt,
So much truth in your writes! So much damage has been done!
Today I listened to a methodical, respectful, and compelling speech regarding the confirmation of the Supreme Court justice.
So many wrongs to be righted!
~Laura~
Of the ones you just added as I was commenting, I love, love “True Immortality”!
More than anything else (intelligence, verbosity, humor etc) I
value and treasure courage. It's the one human characteristic
that separates the good from the truly great. Susan showed great
courage today and I was extremely proud watching her live.
Courage is what America was built on, and the lack of courage may
be our undoing...
