Self Ruin

Jabberwocky

I saw an arm once

Caught in a trap
Gnawed through in panic
and in fear
I carried it long in mind
And pondered it many a year.

What is the worse
that befalls a man?
That they have great strengths

slave to terrible weakness.

For such all is chewin',
the greater their strengths
the greater the ruin.
