Repeat

AfairlyUselessFairy

The sky turns grey

And I’m all alone

Light begins to fade

and everything feels wrong

I can’t feel myself

And time runs away

You take hold of me

And I have to stay

I push and I try

But I can’t get free

But the rope round my wrist

was tied by me

An invisible cage

And I hold the key

But without you

Where would I be

You’re all that I know

And all I’ll ever be

Because I am you

And you are me

I turned out the lights

When I circled back round

And I know

And I know

I let myself down

Now it’s time

That I have to go

But don’t you worry

As you know

Happiness is borrowed

No matter how fast I run

I’ll always come back

Tomorrow

Because the sadness is never gone
