Decided

DafiaEislyn

I was six when my life was decided,

how long I would live,

what my life would be like,

the feelings I would have,

how much I would laugh,

how hard I would cry,

how bad I would hurt,

how soon I would die,

this was all decided when I was six.

Decided with a knock on a door,

in the blink of an eye,

one moment you're safe

and then,

you're suddenly not so safe anymore.
