Voices of trepidation
bind to false accusations
from ashes of the past.
Love became deception;
the haunting exist
in an unwell mind.
Existences in sight
of the individual,
but none can see
the inability for one
to distinguish
true reality.
Voices and hallucinations;
Illusions are a delusion;
duplicity at its finest.
Solitaire gemstone stolen;
Falsifying love to
take advantage
of the one
suffering from psychosis...

- Comment from author about the poem: An amazing and talented artist I met had so much courage to stand tall and fight all obstacles that came her way. She suffers from psychosis, but that never stopped her from creating beautiful artwork that touches the hearts of many. Psychosis is not easy to understand for those who never had to face it. It's having these voices constantly trying to tear you apart. It's seeing things that are not really there. It's having to be attacked every day by things that only the survivor can see. Some are worse than others, but psychosis is a terrible mental illness that can make everyday life challenging no matter the severity. The hardest part about psychosis is not a lot of people understand it, therefore, start making assumptions about it that's just not true. Stay strong everyone. Sending my love, and keeping all of you in my prayers.
