Cupid's Arrows

Cupid’s Arrows

Cupid saw two lonely souls

And drew back his little bow

With an arrow for each of us

That we would love and learn to trust

Just like that our lives were changed

With our hearts not the same

But different in a single day

With a love that would stay

No matter what our love remained

Despite the occasional little rain

And we emerged better fit

With clear skies that would not quit

We continued to grow and love much

And have met others cupid touched

With true love all their lives

As faithful husbands and devoted wives

We have prospered since we met

With our vows always kept

Thankful cupid saw us lonely

And led us to a matrimony
