Falling Snow

Poetic_Pixel

White sheets from the sky,

Falling gently to the ground.

To go outside and look beyond,

To where it can be found.

Cities and plains covered,

In clean pure white.

People go out to play,

In winter’s delight.

Although that snow,

Will stay till morrow.

It can also bring,

Great pain and sorrow.

Causing great cold,

And blocking the street.

Freezing your body,

From head to feet.

We head inside,

When it’s time to go.

Wrapped in blankets,

And drinking cocoa.

We watch the snow,

Slowly melt away.

Until next time,

Our next snow day.
