Poised

AfairlyUselessFairy

I am stern when I say.

I wish my hands did not shake.

When I start to talk out loud.

I’m concerned when I say.

That I am far too afraid.

To let everyone down.

But I can do admit.

When I am bad.

I will quit.

Disappear in the crowd.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This one is kinda going against some advice I was kindly given, I’ve always been a bit of a punk. This one doesn’t flow so well but that’s to do with it being about anxiety. I try to put a lot of thought into my poems. Could of been a bad move, be nice to hear what people think.
