Woman

C.J. Knudsen

Woman

The sunlight shows your spirit
My heart is a canyon of lust
The smell of your hair is a warm garden in the early summer sun
Your soul is a map of the stars; wanting, waiting and yearning to explore
I have you known your spirit since I was in the womb, but your eyes make me crave to read your passions, your heartache, your laughter and your hopes.

One glimpse of you is the sun warming me for an eternity

Life; the beauty and recipe of your soul, running through the darkest corners of my body, that allow me to cling to my dreams and taste memories

You; the carrier of life, the carrier of dreams and a tentacle to touch the universe
