Love Swells Like The Ocean.

kevin browne

Love swells like the ocean and can swipe you off your feet
It floats like a butterfly and it sings to you as you both meet
With a heart full of honey and a basket full of red rose flowers
You'll walk together hand in hand and stand tall like towers

Faces build around the moments when someone's calling in
A love in a life is a heart in your soul asking where you've been
Laying upon yourself undiscovered waiting to jive like Jagger
And falling into the abyss of discovering did it even really matter

Bow down Alexandria because Cleopatra is wanting more fun
Stand up boys, the attention of your intentions is needing some
Covered with colour under the sheets of a blossoming romance
Blunted at one end by the stone that never learnt how to dance

Starved by your heart your veins are flattened by the pace of it
Swollen are the tears that wash out rivers of love just a little bit
Lands beat to the motion and play the piano, drums and a violin
And, clouds above you by the white cliffs of Dover sat Vera Lyn

A babies thumb is so sweet, so sweet it will never forget you
If the misery of loneliness is hurting, ask the baby what to do
For innocence plays truant all the way back to where it began
Just trust it's there and learn to love as everyone else can

Shakespeare, Shakespeare, your pen melts the heart of many
In wondrous visions of such delight, it gets too hot and sunny
Where women have crawled men have flaunted their diamonds
Crime is a punishment to love and believe that it never ends

Now you're together you can count the blessings of who's who
Creme de la creme for the top of the world for being bright blue
Sit down beside the heart you've found and try to never to let go
Blooming in your loves existence leaves the world to let it show.
