Oh how great it is.
What a great freedom we enjoy.
The opportunities we have -
the troops willing to be deployed.
Not that it is perfect.
Infact, we are far from it.
Still, I am grateful,
for what we have,
and all the leaders,
we have that run it,
but I am not one to brag.
Still, there are times,
I must express the love.
The only nation,
greater than us,
is Heaven up above.

- Comment from author about the poem: This piece is written two days before Veterans day. We must remember and appreciate what our military and country does for us. Also, for those who do not know: this Veterens day falls on the one-hundredth aniversary since WWI ended. Persistence is key
