An Autumn Dance

An Autumn Dance

Took upon and forced, a blustery Autumn dance.

Partnered in routine , rays shimmer to enhance.

Natures pallet abundant with autumnal shades of all.

Summer heat withdrawing as we are painted into fall.

Voices of the trees flirting to a scatter.

Sporadic in there movement with rustling chatter chatter.

They come to us with hopeful hearts  to play within our day.

With disappointment only we sweep them all away.

It comes to now a slowing end an autumn

curtain fall

Covering all so soft and deep we wait for winters call.

So now the trees stand tall and bare quiet with voices lost.

From now to spring all we’ll hear is the howl of winters ghost.

A fine write lambo. I feel I may be able to set this to a hymn-poem if you wish? But I must not pinch your work without permission - plagiarize it - the poet's unforgivable sin?!
