May It Be Fixed

"Carter Wills"

It had happened so suddenly,
but there still is no doubt
that I'd lost a vital part of me,
one I could not live without.

Something I may have not given it's true value,
not given what it deserved.
The loss of it pained me through,
and ruins the memories I have preserved.

I made some rather incorrigible mistakes,
and ruined something truly great.
I only wish I could fix those breaks,
but it stands to be far too late.

I lost a friend, family, a love,
something as vital as my own heart.
Something I cared for, took precious note of,
and yet still I caused it to fall apart.

If only I could correct those faults,
just rewind back the time.
To change the issues and bring to them halt,
and fix those things I broke of mine.
