A window framed with memory
lets in the brightest light
Its lock and hasp long since removed
a journeyman’s delight
Casting off the millstone
the rock of age has come
As darkness hides beyond the sash
—to greet the rising sun

Kurt,
This is absolutely beautiful, enlightening and liberating! It’s like releasing that precious dove and let it fly into freedom!
I read it to my aunt! She asked me to read it to her each morning...like a prayer! She wants to be reminded of and remember all that she has been blessed with throughout her lifetime. She wants it as part of her eulogy when she leaves us!
That brought tears to my eyes!
Thank you for this awesome share!
~Laura~
Again, I am truly honored by your comments. Your Aunt is very
lucky to have you in her life.
Wish her Happy Thanksgiving from me.
Kurt
