Warrior Truth

whoweare

Let them all who hear me rumble in fear

For I am that phantom who is the truth

I communicate what you need to know

and I tell you what you don’t want to hear.

Most men say they want to meet me someday

Most men say that they truly want to know

But when it becomes time for listening,

O, then that man drowns himself in whiskey.

Some men do have the courage, and decree

That I am the last one they want to meet

They are those that learned many moons ago

A beautiful lie is better than me.

Some men, they find they know me already

Some men, they pain to hear me everyday

But these men do know better than listen

They know better than to listen to me.

But one man wants to hear what I may say.

One man really will be so ignorant.

One man will decide to follow my way.

And that one man will then waste away.

No weapon can match my awesome power

No war can destroy quite the same as I

No weight is as suffocating, heavy.

Those are of a mere physical nature

But I am of the more dangerous kind.

I, I am only imaginary

The reason I destroy so utterly?

I kill the beautiful lies of your mind.
