A Found poem from the Murray Middle School's hallways
Arranged by Alahna
Some people can be very quiet
They did not grow up with our opportunity
While we ask a teacher or member for a rescue
They are disciplined and marked
Sharp, vivid images of the event
Memories of avoiding suffocation
They are told,
“Go back.”
They need to be precise
Or they’ll end up running for their life
People labeled wonderers in constant movement
The girl who could not dream
Ghosts
Just people held responsible for parents' action
Held in till death is on sale

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem is a found poem. A found poem is a poem made up almost completely of words set in a text or geographical location. I found all of these words in the hallways of my school. Take it as you will.
