Slam bang
Punch duck
One hole and another
Your stuck in a rut
Chipping away at your heart and soul
You feel like youre losing all control
A man who loves you
Would not do this
It’s not your fault
In fact it’s his
Do not believe his mouth his lies
You have to read between the lines
Slam bang
Punch duck
One in the wall
One in the gut
He may not lay hands on you
But it’s all the same
Every little thing he does is pain
If no one is there to help you out
All you got to do is scream and shout
No more holes
No more lies
Let it all out shout to the skies
Tell him your leaving
Tears fill in your eyes
It’s the best thing to do
It will save your life

WELCOME JOSAPHINE ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ well written but painful. I share this site with my Fiancee and (so far) we are gentle with each other ! Abuse by a Partner is hard to deal with especially if there are Children involved and also if you actually love the abuser ! I have Friends & Students (I teach 17+ students) and in general I would council the one who is being abused to escape as you have done ! This is a big (and increasing ) topic. Every Blessing BRIAN.
