Anxiety

r.kaur

My mind,

Working tirelessly,

Making me tiresome,

My lover,

My friend,

My enemy,

Morphed into one,

Presented in a parcel of poison,

My mind.

Powerful enough to drown oceans,

Yet struggling to swim.

 - lost at sea

THANKS FRIEND ~ For your first Poem ! It is an elegantly penned & spaced ~ free verse dodecet (12 lines). The subject ANXIETY ~ is something most of us (25+) can relate to ~ as an attitude of MIND ! All our Human Interactions (Lovers ~ Friends ~ Enemies etc) contribute (positively or negatively) to our level of Anxiety ! YES our Minds are very powerful and cope with most situations but ~ paradoxically ~ drowning in the minutiae of everyday life. Thanks for sharing more please. Yours BRIAN & ANGELA. Please check our site ~ Thanks B & A !
