Only the substance is my body.
I use it to get high.
I use it for its chemicals and then to my soul say goodbye.
How do you fight the hungers of your own skin?
What is this war within?
Commands from the flesh will bring only death.
Inner chemical warfare lead by the master of the world.

Your writings of the heart speak directly to the truth. You give only a glimpse of your world to the reader, that trumpets your words of desperation, but it is also a cry for help.
Although I enjoyed your poem of honesty, I would suggest you find ways of being with friends or calling them when you feel a bout of depression coming on.
Enjoy your life. Nothing is worth death. Write poetry, as you;ve done, instead. Cheer up! š
Thank you for your response. This was written during a dark time. I am thankfully working at my soul everyday and asking God for help. Some days are better than others, but this thing I deal with that drove me to write, has a grip sometimes. Glad to have been read by you as always!
Well, if the poem was written during a dark time, get out into the light and see God's artistic strokes in nature. Oftentimes, just sitting in the sun and admiring the landscape gets us out of a depressive mood.

Addiction to chemicals is definitely a true mutha fucka...not sure what it is that you Are into but if it is heroin, it's the devil ..all of the opium in the world is owned and manufactured by he British Monarchy, who are not actually British at all..they are German Reptilians , but that's a whole other story...drugs have energies that they absorb, like everything else, and they come from who is in control of them...meth can be used for mind expansion if used in moderation, but people generally are unable to moderate anything that they become addicted to...if you are personally dealing with an addiction in your body, remember that the mind is much more powerful and that, ultimately, you are in control...nice write anyway...
